Rounded

The big man is too rounded.. losing definition. Weird, because i reckon i know where the dents should go now, but yet they seem to be disappearing worse than when i didn't know em...

Anyway he is coming good, and is the same every time... You just have to work about 5 times longer than you expect & then it wll work. The first 80% of it is just despair. Then if you can keep slogging along, you start to get hopeful a long time after sensible people would have chucked in the towel. Its not exactly a relaxing way to work though!

Have found a great new tool, the butterknife i usually use to mix moulding rubber. It has a lovely ripple in it. i wanted to get a hacksaw blade like i usually use to get texture & form, but this knife is great.

Worked til 9.30pm by one fluoro light. Had laptop there & managed to watch 3 movies during the day & evening, mostly while i worked though. Gran Torino (not bad), 2012 Doomsday (disappointed ths was not a Zombie movie as i expected but rather a shite godbotherer film that ultimately made no damn sense anyway - avoid this film like the 10 plagues), and Last holiday (great tho incredibly lightweight). Had the work projector for the films, working on the wall there. And the ancient Cambridge pc speakers i found in a dumpster at work pumping out the volume trying to compete with the pouring rain on the roof. Can't beleive those speakers they are so good. A bit of distorton in very bassy things at almost 100% volume. But you understand every word in a movie, with those speakers, very clear.
