Crunching time

Today i decided that no matter how long i have, the sculpture will take that long to make. Therefore if i decide i am gonna finish it TODAY then i will finish it today. So i decided to finish it today - why drag it out eh. Soon after that i realised i was booked for sushi with a marine biologist mate so i will have to finish it TOMORROW.

But i did get the right arm working much better & i think its just about ok now. i just got to commit :)

Have also got to the point where i reckon i've absorbed as much anatomy as i can probably use. I've had a bunch of people thru the studio modelling for me. From now on i have to make the sculpture look like itself & not worry so much about anatomy. What i know already will just come out in it anyhows, since i been studying it so hard. Now i just got to make it harmonious with itself. Piece of p*ss... not.

Another thing i did today was to try on a stormtrooper helmet, like from star wars. For some reason when i saw Mark walking uphill to his building at work (i went in for brekkie with my Team) I just KNEW there was a stormtrooper helmet in the box he was carrying. How did i know that? And why was he carrying one? To work? Well there's more things on heaven & earth - you just got to trust yr intuition eh.
Anyway I got to make one of those helmets one day. Always thought they were quite a difficult shape when i was a kid. Maybe i could give it a go now though.
