The suits came, they saw, they liked, enjoyed lunch, and chose a patina in clear unanimous way. Cool. Its funny the bigger the project the nicer things seems to work out. I doubt that's everybody's experience, cos people moan a lot about commissions. But it seems really that if someone wants a cheap job out of you they treat you like crap & if they ask an expensive one they just treat you much better. For a $10 job they reject it endlessly but for a $100K one they trust your judgement. Maybe its the @ 20 years between the $0 job where i got the sack & the 100K one where they treat me nice. I dunno that seniority counts for much, but what does? Luck, probably :)
On a stupider note an old acquaintance i met in the supermarket last nite managed to root my phone bad enough i had to reboot the damn thing this arvo. He set it sending himself a message, and whatever he done to it, it was tryin valiantly to send this msg for like 24 hrs & kept flattening the battery like nuts. Even after i killed the msg it was still tryin to send a nothing. The funny thing was he was showin me all these cool tricks on my phone like he was mr smartass of nokia land & in the end he ruined the silly thing instead. Good on ya mate.. chalk up a good big fat tick for useless twattery & time wastin. I known this dude for some years & it kinda typifies the guy. Nice bloke, but.
Then after i rebooted it & it stopped trying to send that stupid nothin, i finally got the 3 voice mails that i'd not got over the previous 24 hrs cos the phone, a course, can only do 1 thing at a time. What a top way to really bugger up someone's phone! i must work out how he did it, cos it be worth repeatin to shit someone off.
